Bengaluru FC name strong 29-man squad for the AFC Cup Playoffs
Bengaluru FC are all set to play their AFC playoffs match against Maldivian outfit Club Eagles from the 15th of August, and the club has now finally released its 29 man strong squad who would take the trip to the island nation.
Bengaluru are looking to join their Indian counterparts ATK Mohun Bagan in Group D of the main competition with a victory against Eagles. The group already consists of Maldidvian side Maziya S&RC and Bashundhara Kings from Bangladesh apart from ATK Mohun Bagan.

Bengaluru FC’s squad features a total of 6 new names, as most of their new summer signings have been included. The new Indian names are young winger Harmanpreet Singh, Jayesh Rane, Bidyashagar Singh, Sarthak Golui, Danish Farooq, and Rohit Kumar.
The squad will be led by ever present Indian skipper Sunil Chhetri who returns to action for the Indian side. They will miss the services of Australian midfielder Erik Paartalu, who was adjudged as one of the members to breach the Covid-19 protocols the last time, the side had travelled to Male.
