Brazilian international Casemiro’s wife Anna Mariana was born on the 12th of July 1989 in Itatiba, São Paulo, Brazil, and is a jack of all trades. Carlos Henrique Casemiro also known as Casemiro was born on the 23rd of February 1992 is a Brazilian international footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for the English Premier League club Manchester United. His tenacity on the pitch exemplified by his fierce ground challenges and stamina has led Marca to nickname home “ The Tank “.
The Tank started his career for the boyhood club São Paulo at the age of 11 and was known as “Carlao”. His senior debut for São Paulo came on 25th July 2010 in an away loss to bitter rivals Santos. His first senior goal came in a draw on 15th august against Cruzeiro. He spent 3 years in the senior team before moving to Real Madrid Castilla on loan in 2013 which plays in the Second division.
He made his first team debut for Real Madrid against Real Betis in a 3-1 home win on 20th April 2013. He was signed permanently for 18.73 million dollars and was given a 4-year contract.
He was loaned to Portuguese giants FC Porto the very next year on a season-long loan where his performances earned him a spot in the Real Madrid team the next year from which he cemented his place in the defensive midfield position becoming the famous integral part of the midfield alongside Luka Modric and Toni Kroos under Zinedine Zidane with whom he has 3 champions league titles and a total of 5 trophies.
The Brazilian international Signed for English Premier League side Manchester United on 19th August 2022 from Real Madrid ending a stint of 335 appearances in 9 years scoring 31 goals. The fee was subjected to be 60 million pounds with 10 million in add-ons. The defensive midfielder wears the number 18 jersey and combined with his former Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo creating an assist for his 700 club goal.
