The referee also decided to provide ample amount of extra time with 6 additional minutes which gave the 5-time Ballon D’or winner the chance to put the ball through the keeper and in the net to secure his team the win and also manage to break the all-time record for most international goals scored (male).

New Guinness Record on Cristiano Ronaldo’s names

Even when he isn’t on the field Ronaldo is a success. He is a leading scorer, sportsman, personality, and social media spectacle. He has the most Twitter followers of any athlete, as well as the most Instagram followers of any athlete. His Instagram account is also the most popular on the platform, surpassing Selena Gomez in 2017. In addition, as of April 2021, he had the most Facebook likes of any athlete.

Cristiano has reached another milestone in his football career however by becoming the all-time top scorer in men’s international football. Ronaldo surpassed his personal record of goals against Ireland just minutes before the match ended by scoring a double and taking the total up to an impressive 111.

Daei began coaching in 2006 after serving as captain of the Iran national football team. He is now a professional footballing manager, and his most recent team was Saipa, which he headed from 2017 to mid-2019. Between 2003 and 2021, Cristiano Ronaldo tied Daei’s goal total, but the Portuguese forward ultimately surpassed it in the game against Ireland, when he scored for the 111th time.
