Manchester United have tabled a bid to Juventus for Cristiano Ronaldo
As per recent reports Manchester United have offered a bid of 25 million euros plus add ons to Juventus and a two year deal to Cristiano Ronaldo until 2023, the fee has not yet been disclosed.
In recent report we have found out that Manchester City have no more interest to sign Cristiano Ronaldo. Jorge Mendes who was working out a deal with Manchester City has reported that the blues does not wish to pursue the deal which includes them paying Juventus a fee of £20-30 million for Ronaldo.
Ole Gunner Solskjaer keeps the door open on Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer to Manchester United
In a press conference on Friday afternoon Ole commented that he did not expect Ronaldo to leave Juventus this summer, he will be always be in Manchester United’s plan and Ronaldo ‘knows we’re here’.
“I didn’t think Cristiano was gonna turn out leaving Juventus,” Solskjaer said
“We’ve always had good communication. I know Bruno [Fernandes]’s been talking to him as well and he knows what we feel about him. And if he was ever gonna move away from Juventus he knows we’re here.”
Just few moments after Manchester City pulled themselves out from the race to sign Ronaldo, Manchester United who was also been in contact with Jorge Mendes, stepped up their negotiations for the return of Cristiano Ronaldo back to Manchester United after 12 years.
Manchester United is on negotiation with Juventus through Jorge Mendes to complete the signing of their club legend, Cristiano Ronaldo. A contract will be discussed within the next few hours and deal until June 2023 will be offered to Ronaldo, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Ole Gunner Solskjaer has expressed his emotion to sign Ronaldo and he refers him as the Club Legend.
“Cristiano has been a legend of this club, he is a legend of this club, he’s the greatest player of all time, if you ask me. I was fortunate enough to play with him, I coached him (in 2008) when I got my job. He almost retired me in that Wolverhampton game (in 2003) when I got injured because he kept switching sides! Such a tremendous human being, as well. Let’s see what happens with Cristiano. Everyone who’s played with him has a soft spot for him,” Said Solskjaer.
Pep Guardiola when asked Manchester City’s interest to sign Ronaldo
Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola said on Thursday that the deal between Manchester City and Ronaldo is “far, far away” from getting completed, anything can happen before the window closes on 31st August.
“In my personal view there are few players, Ronaldo and Messi included, that they decide where they are going to play. They are the leading role in the negotiations. Right now I’m delighted with the squad we have and we’ll stay the same,” Guardiola said.
