The iconic English footballer, worldwide model, and businessman – David Beckham has expressed his pride and love for his second son – Romeo Beckham who has decided to follow his father’s footsteps and join the beautiful game as an outfield player.
This is not the first time we are seeing a son of a famous footballer joining the game. Football is replete with instances where family lineages, with prominent sons and daughters following in their parents’ footsteps on the field. Obviously, there are different levels of brilliance, and the offspring of celebrities commonly fail to break free from their relations’ shadows.
Daniel Maldini is a third-generation player, following the lead of grandfather Cesare and father Paolo at AC Milan. Justin Kluivert has a long way to go to catch up to his father Patrick. On the other side, Erling Haaland has already exceeded his father Alf-Inge Haaland, when it comes to achieving fame and success.
About Romeo Beckham
Romeo Beckham is the second among four of David & Victoria Beckham’s children – Brooklyn, Cruz, and Harper being the other three. Although the eldest son Brooklyn has chosen a different career altogether, Romeo looks forward to surpassing his father in his career.
