“Every moment with him is intense”- De Gea opens up about the quality of training sessions with Ralf Rangnick
Ever since the arrival of Ralf Rangnick, Manchester United have not played many games to judge how the German has fared in the fastest league. However, the club has played two games in the Premier League and are able to keep cleansheets despite having scored only one goal each in those games.
With the cleansheets, it is none other than David de Gea who is ultmost happy. The shot-stopper struggled to keep the cleansheets earlier with the leaky defense. The Spaniard is happy with the training sessions at Old Trafford despite the COVID break. Here is what the player had to say about the training sessions the former RB Leipzig manager.
David de Gea says that Every moment with Rangnick is intense on training sessions with Ralf Rangnick
It's good to have the whole team back to train properly altogether and then, of course, see they are all safe. They are back, they are all training, they are fine, so it's great to be together again
We've been training hard, of course. It's very intense, every training session, every moment with him [Rangnick] is intense. You have to give 100 per cent every time in training and in the games. "Let's see. It's just the beginning, it's been a couple of weeks, so let's see in the future. "The team is training with energy, with pace, and now we have to show that in big games. (Via: MEN)
Ever since the resumption of the 2021/22 season, de Gea has returned to his peak form. The failure to stop any penalty in the Europa League finals has fired the player up and he has stopped multiple penalty conceded by his team in the Premier League. Also, the player already has higher save percentage compared to the previous team. This also includes the Spaniard’s penalty save in the dying moments against West Ham United.
