Bookings are way too common in football especially in the modern game And when these bookings come early in the game then it is an astonishing factor. 

So following is the list of 5 Earliest Bookings in Premier League History

5. Anthony Knockaert Against Crystal Palace

Anthony Knockaert a french International made 63 appearances fro brighton under his manager Chris Hughton across the 2017/18 and 2018/19 campaigns. Where the french youth international managed to find the back of the net 5 times.

The manager was surprised by his quick booking which took place under 30 seconds of the game nevertheless Anthony managed to score a winner in the latter part of the game.

4. Stephen Warnock Against Hull

Stephen Warnock, back in March 2009 was booked at 26th second of the game between his side Blackburn against Hull. Stephen’s side send the Hull‘s team back to their caves and towards the relegation zone. 

The former RED (Liverpool) defender clashed with Bernard Mendy during the early stages of the fixture and was duly booked Yellow by the referee Martin Atkinson.

They later went on to win that fixture.

3. Liam Cooper against West Brom

Liam Cooper, the captain of the English team newly promoted into the first division Premier League Football, Leeds United. He was shown a yellow card just moments after the Kick-off.

The captain and defender of Leeds United, Cooper was booked followed by a VAR check which alerted him because he could be sent off as there was a lot of time left unttil the final whistle and being a defender made him more cautious.

Liam’s side later went on to win that fixture by 3-1.

2. Scott Mctominay Against Newcastle 

One half of the famous central midfield duo  McFred, Scott Mctominay was booked just seconds after the Kick-Off, 24 seconds to be precise. He went on to help The Red Devils ( Manchester United) to register a win against Newcastle on the Boxing Day of 2019.

The Scottish International started the game with a force to be reckoned with and gave away an early foul against Sean Longstaff and to save him from a red card, the manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer substituted him for Paul Pogba.

Manchester United went on to win the fixture 4-1 at the final whistle.

1 . Sadio Mane Against Chelsea

The number one spot on this list is for the Liverpool star man Sadio Mane. Chelsea football club’s manager Thomas Tuchel was bamboozled as to how Sadio Mane is still on the pitch after that ridiculous elbow challenge against Cesar Azpilicueta.

And that too just moments after the Kick-Off in the 15th second of the game. Which is quite hard to believe but it is the COVID-19 era. So it was not that kind of a surprise as well. But nevertheless Sadio Mane went on to show his class a couple of minutes after that booking.

By giving his side a lead at Stamford Bridge and performing great throughout his time at the pitch before getting subbed off for Curtis Jones in the 90th minute of the game. The game was held 2-2 at the final whistle.
