Austria Vs North Macedonia

Austria clinched a narrow 3-1 victory against minnows North Macedonia in the opening match of Group C today in match day 2 of EURO 2020. Austria took the lead early through Stefan Lainer in the 18th minute but North Macedonia responded within ten minutes when Goran Pandev equalized in the 28th minute. Austria dominated possession and were the controlling side throughout the match and were rewarded when Michael Gregoritsch scored the second for them in the 78th minute as he nicked a cross from David Alaba into the opponents goal and Marko Arnautovic added their third just before added time to seal the fate of the match.
