FIFA 22: PSG star Messi confirmed as the best player ahead of Ronaldo as ratings are released for the latest edition

Lionel Messi made the shocking switch to PSG from Barcelona earlier this summer and is the best rated individual player in the latest edition of game. Messi beats Ronaldo who is also back with Manchester United at the Old Trafford.

Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski has broken the dominance of Messi and Ronaldo as the top two rated players in the game after eight years. Cristiano Ronaldo comes in as the third best player overall in the game. However PSG will have great team in Fifa 22 but especially a fierce attack with Messi’s teammates Kylian Mbappe and Neymar are the fifth and sixth best player in the game behind Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne.

Jan Oblak comes in as the best goalkeeper in the game’s latest edition for a second year running ahead of Manuel Neuer and Barcelona’s Marc Andre Ter Stegen. Dortmund’s Erling Halaand just missed the list of best 22 players in the game as he comes in at an overall rating of 88. New PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma also makes the list after having a great season and winning the Euro 2020 with Italy and named the best player of the tournament.

Premier League dominates the FIFA 22 players list

Premier League is undoubtedly the best league in the world and that is clearly seen in the latest Fifa 22 rankings of the best 22 players in the game. Cristiano Ronaldo returned to Manchester United after 12 years making his move from Juventus earlier this summer, and is the third best player in the game. Manchester City veteran midfielder Kevin De Bruyne comes in at number four ahead of Messi’s new teammates Mbappe and Neymar.

England captain Harry Kane and Chelsea’s N’golo Kante makes the top 10 with ninth and tenth respectively. Kane’s Spurs teammate Son comes in at number 17 with an overall rating of 89.

Liverpool have Mohamed Salah, Virgil Van Djik, Alisson and Sadio Mane in the best 22 players with all having an overall rating of 89 in the latest Fifa edition, Ederson completes the list as the best goalkeeper alongside Alisson in the Premier League after winning the golden glove last season.
