Gareth Bale: “If I say anything, it will cause chaos,” on his future destination next season
Where would Gareth Bale play next season?
Gareth Bale produced a memorable performance for Tottanham Hotspur, starring with a brace in Tottenham’s 4-2 win over Leicester. The Welshman, has proven it over and over again this season that he still has what it takes to be playing at the top level for the coming years.
After the final match of the season on loan at Tottenham, Bale claimed he would ’cause chaos’ if he revealed where he is due to play football next term. Bale is scheduled to return to Real Madrid next season and had himself claimed the same a few weeks back but did not commit to the club in his latest stance.
“I’m not thinking about anything other than Wales” :Gareth Bale ahead of the EUROs
Gareth wants to wait until the European Championships are over in July to announce his next move. Speaking to Sky Sports after Tottenham’s 4-2 win at Leicester City, Bale said a decision regarding his future would be announced after Euro 2020.
Gareth said: “I know what I’m doing but it will just cause chaos if I say anything.
“I am not thinking about anything, all I’m concentrating on now is obviously finishing this season off strong. We meet up straight away for the Euros and I’m not thinking about anything else other than Wales.”
Earlier, Gareth Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett spoke on his future but did not provide a complete answer to where Bale would play next season.
Barnett said, “Nothing has been discussed at the moment. He had a tough ride and I don’t think that should have been necessary. He came as one of the best players in the world. Sure, he had a few injuries and a few fitness problems but once they were over, all he needed was to be played in the right position and to be played constantly to get back into the rhythm.“
Gareth Bale has scored 16 goals in 34 appearances for Tottenham in his second stint at the club. The 31-year old might fancy a move to Real next season if Zidane leaves this summer, considering Los Blancos’ lack of goal scoring options this season.
