Ahead of the busy summer transfer window, the clubs have started to draw their strategy. The finances of the clubs have gone down because of the pandemic. One of the most interesting transfer sagas in the 2021 summer transfer window is Harry Kane. The Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane, has come out and said that he would like to join other club at the end of the season.

Talking to Gary Neville, the player mentioned his desire to leave the Lillywhites for Champions League. In an exclusive show with Gary Neville, Harry said:

I want to play the Champions League… I’m not desperate to do anything. I want to be playing in the biggest games. I’ve said before, I’d never say that I’d stay at Spurs for the rest of my career. I’d never say that I would leave Spurs.

There have been multiple instances in football where the players decided to either move on from their current club to get the glory whereas few have stayed with the club and went through everything. The player who comes to mind when the term “Loyalty” is used is Francesco Totti. The player stayed at Roma for his entire career spanning 28 years. During his career In Italy, Totti won only 5 domestic titles and zero Champions League titles to his name. At the same time, the player denied an opportunity to join the likes of Real Madrid and Juventus during his prime career. Similar was the case with Paul Scholes and Paolo Maldini as well.

On the other hand, the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Neymar Jr, Luis Figo and Robin van Persie joined other clubs to fulfill their dream of reaching the top-tier and winning titles. Robin van Persie joined Manchester United from Arsenal just to win the title. Cristiano Ronaldo moved from Sporting to Manchester United to Real Madrid in the search for excellence and individual trophies. Neymar Jr joined Paris St Germain from Barcelona to come out of Lionel Messi’s shadow.

Harry Kane has come to the cross-road that these players had reached once in their career. Harry Kane has 165 goals and 31 assists to his name in the English top-flight across nine seasons. However, the English striker is deprived of titles and has none to his name. His teammate, Gareth Bale, despite being a North Londoner, joined Real Madrid just to win the titles.

A move to Manchester City or Paris St Germain would fulfill his aim of winning the titles. Harry Kane will be assured of titles at Manchester City because of the team they possess. Joining a side like Paris St Germain would assure him the cup trophies as well as the French League. On the other hand, these clubs can fill the missing piece in their jigsaw puzzle. Harry Kane be a perfect replacement for departing Sergio Aguero.

Having said this, Harry Kane won’t come cheap for any of these clubs. The player has three years remaining in his contract and Daniel Levy is set to demand a hefty price for the player. It is a big summer transfer window for Tottenham Hotspur as well as the English international. The player has a huge decision to make in the summer transfer window.
