Manchester United finished second in the English Premier League with a win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday to cap off their great unbeaten away run at Molineux. Despite resting several first-team players, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men came out victorious. Despite finishing second in the league, Manchester United skipper, Harry Maguire demanded more from his side and stated, ‘Second isn’t good enough’.

The Old Trafford outfit were at the top of the table in January 2021 but failed to keep the momentum going as they dropped the points in the league. Talking to an interview with former Manchester United right-back, Gary Neville, he said the club is improving.

However, the captain lauded their arch-rivals, Manchester City for their great run in the English Premier League. "I think we are improving, From last season to this season we are definitely improving. We've actually been on a good run ourselves and I think the run Manchester City have been on has just been incredible. You have got to give them credit. They broke away with something like 20-odd games on the bounce.

We dropped some silly points in silly games, We know we can do better in some games and be a bit more ruthless in others, and really have great belief in the bigger games that we can go and win that game.

Manchester United are set to face the Spanish outfit, Villareal in the Europa League finals at Gdansk. Though Harry Maguire has traveled with the squad, the player will be assessed before the kick-off. If the Red Devils go on to win the title, it will be Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as well as Manchester United’s first trophy since Jose Mourinho’s departure.
