In what comes in as devastating news, Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez have announced the death of their newly born baby boy. The Portuguese superstar took to his official social media accounts to share the shocking news to his fans and admirers all over the world.
The message posted on his social media accounts read, “It is with our deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our baby boy. It’s the greatest pain any parent can feel. Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness.
“We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support. We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time. Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you. Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez.”
The couple were however blessed with the birth of a girl child but their son could not survive despite the best efforts of the doctors and the medical team. Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez had made it public in October 2021, that they were expecting twins but this was not news millions of his fans were expecting to hear.
Ronaldo’s official social media accounts were flooded with messages condoling with them, in their time of grief and sorrow. #”Rest in Peace” started trending on Twitter immediately after the Manchester United striker shared the news, as fans, teammates, football clubs around the world have all United together to stand alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez as the couple go through this moment of personal loss.
