“He’s physically present, he’s mentally present,” Ralf Rangnick on the return of the Frenchmen from injury
Manchester United French Talisman is back again with the squad training after more than two months as he was out with a major thigh injury which he suffered during his international break with the French National team.
Paul Pogba is reported by the German manager to have started his training even though his return to the playing 11 might take some more time as he is expected to step on the field in February for the FA Cup fourth-round clash with Middlesbrough.
Ralf Rangnick is pretty amped up with the return of the Frenchman and feels that the midfielder can help Manchester United to redeem themselves in the coming days.
What did Ralf Rangnick say about Paul Pogba in his interview?
Ralf Rangnick in his interview said, “Paul Pogba had his first day of training with the whole group yesterday and, in the first training session, he showed what kind of extraordinary player he could be.”
“What you could see from the very first day in training yesterday is that he’s present. He’s physically present, he’s mentally present.”
“What I saw in training yesterday was very promising for the future and I’m very much looking forward to having him available in two weeks’ time after the international break, and I think he will be a serious candidate for the first XI.”
Ralf Rangnick’s Manchester United has faced some serious criticism and with only 18 matches to go in the Premier League the Red Devils have a lot of distance to cover if they look forward to see themselves in next year’s Champions League.
Manchester United will be next taking on Brentford with Luke Shaw and Scott McTominay back from suspension followed by Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcus Rashford who had some minor injuries, are ready for selection.
