Achraf Hakimi is considered to be one of the best right-backs in the world. He was signed for €60 million in 2021 by PSG, currently earning €280,000 a week. However, the Moroccan does not own a single property on paper.

Hiba Abouk, Hakimi’s wife, filed for divorce after the 24-year-old was accused of sexual assault. In light of this, she approached the court and asked for a settlement that included half of the football star’s assets. However, it was discovered that he had no assets.

Hakimi reportedly registered all his assets and properties under his mother Sadia Mouth’s name. Legally, the Moroccan is worth nothing.

A report stated: “Achraf Hakimi’s wife had taken the court for a divorce case and wanted them to separate the assets and divide them in court. When the divorce took place and they agreed to share the assets, they realized Achraf Hakimi had no assets and neither did the bank. Achraf Hakimi had put all his fortune in his mother’s name a long time ago.”

The famous defender was previously charged with raping a woman whom he had welcomed to his marital home when his wife and family were in Dubai. The Moroccan International has since been the subject of an investigation to get to the bottom of the allegations.

Hiba Abouk issued a statement after filing for divorce from Achraf Hakimi. The actress revealed she had made her decision to split from the PSG star even before the footballer was accused of sexual assault.

Speaking about the divorce, she stated: “After making the decision to legally separate and stop living together, while waiting for the divorce proceedings, who would have imagined that in addition to facing the usual pain that comes with a separation, and accept the grief that comes with the failure of a family project to which I had given body and soul, I would have to face this ignominy.”

She further emphasized on how she stands against what Hakimi has been accused of, stating: “It remains to trust in the good work of justice. It goes without saying that in my life I have always been and will always be on the side of the victims.” The conclusive statement seemed to point towards the fact that Abouk is on the side of the young woman accusing Hakimi of the crime.
