Gerard Pique is arguably one of the best defenders in the world. A crucial player during his prime, he led Barcelona to many successive campaigns winning a hoard of trophies. The same cannot be said about his personal life filled with controversies that led to his breakup with Shakira. He currently dates Clara Chia Marti and there are speculations of marriage within the couple.
However, this isn’t the only time Pique was involved in other relationships which went unheard due to his previous status where he was mostly unknown. Here is a look at the relationships Gerard Pique had so far
1. Lisa Lazarus
Gerard Pique’s first girlfriend in his professional career was when he was in England. She was a part-time radiology student and a model. Pique was not that famous and was in the very initial days of his growing career. He was seen with Liza Lazarus many times and after some days it was confirmed that the British model and Pique were dating each other.
She won Miss Universe Great Britain back in 2008. However, their relationship seemed to have ended after Pique returned back to Barcelona in 2008.
2. Nuria Tomas
After splitting up with Liza, Gerard was reportedly seen dating Nuria Tomas. Nuria is a British actress by profession and she also does modelling. She is a renowned name in the Hollywood industry and is a successful actress. Both were spotted together spending weekends and were very active together.
The couple was seen sharing quality time with each other. In 2009 the actress was sharing a serious relationship with the Barcelona footballer. They were in a relationship for almost two years until they broke up.
3. Shakira
Undoubtedly his more famous relationship, Pique met Shakira back in 2011. The Colombian singer was having time of her life after her single ‘Waka-Waka’ went viral across the globe. Shakira was very famous at the time when she was dating a 10 year younger Pique.
Both of them were facing critics for the age gap they were having. In 2011 Shakira and Gerard Pique were seen together for the first time and it was confirmed that in 2010 they met each other. The celebrity couple shockingly broke up in 2022 after Shakira got to know about Pique’s infidelity. They have two sons Milan and Sasha.
4. Clara Chia Marti
The celebrity duo was reportedly seeing each other a year before the Spanish football star broke up with Shakira. She is a common girl who is gaining popularity in the media for being the girlfriend of Pique. However, Marti has been off social media since the ‘Shakira-Pique’ diss track controversy broke out.
She has been the victim of hate and abuse on social media due to her relationship with Pique. Marti currently works at Pique’s event management company, Kosmos Holdings. Marti was also seen working as a waitress at one of the parties that Pique’s company had organized.
