Karim Benzema, the third-highest goal scorer in the history of Real Madrid, joined the club back in 2009 from Olympique Lyon. Ever since he joined, the French forward played a second string to the great Cristiano Ronaldo, so much so that fans had to wait until the Portuguese left to witness Karim’s best.

A night that comprised of total domination in the first half from Mauricio Pochettino’s men, led by a scoreline of 2-0 in aggregate, until the Frenchman decided to take it upon himself to save his club from this defeat.
