Jack Wilshere regrets leaving Arsenal and is considering Retirement at the age of just 29
The English footballer Jack Wilshere was a great midfielder from his youth and was known for his movement, vision, passing, combination play, and most importantly his leadership skills on the field.
Jack Wilshere is just 29 years old and he has revealed that he is worried about his future as a player as no club at this moment is willing to buy him. Hence he is considering retirement and move into coaching, which he is totally not sure if it is the right decision to make so early.
Wilshere in 2017 played only six matches in Arsenal the entire season. The year before that he had signed a three year deal with the club but Unai Emery not playing him made him angry and he decided to leave the club. He now admits that leaving Arsenal was the biggest mistake in his career.
After he left Arsenal he joined West Ham and then he played for Bournemouth too. He has been a free agent since almost the beginning of 2021 and no club shows interest to take him.

Wilshere is having a hard time explaining to his Kids that he is not playing for any club as no club is interested to sign him. “My kids are at an age where they understand. Especially Archie, who’s nine. He’s actually having conversations with me, saying, ‘What about the MLS?’ or ‘Why aren’t you playing in La Liga?’ And it is difficult to explain to him. He’ll say to me, ‘How come no club wants you?’ I don’t know. But how do I explain that to him,” Wilshere said to The Athletic in an interview.
Wilshere has now during this point of his life have realized that football is an emotion and it’s the feeling and the time on the pitch with the ball which creates a hunger to go on and keep improving. Wilshere has been training alone since January when he tested positive for Covid.
Wilshere faced a big amount of time on the stands due to his injuries and he is now training to improve his fitness and get back in the game stronger than ever before.
