Karim Benzema has been in sensational form this season as he continues to add goals to his tally, helping the Los Blancos to stay at the top in the Spanish league.

The French maestro however underwent an injury in his last game against Elche as he was found leaving the field early on in the second half, holding his hamstring.

The Frenchman had one of the worst possible days in this year as he also missed his first penalty for Real Madrid ever which could have been the clincher for the Los Blancos as the match ended in a 2-2 draw after Eder Militao scored the equalizer at the death minute.

Benzema’s hamstring injury looks to be somewhat of a major issue even thought the player is expected to make a healthy return within two weeks.
