Granada are in 18th place with 3 points from their first seven games of the season. However Robert Moreno’s men have put some decent performances in hard fought draws against the likes of Villarreal, Valencia and Barcelona respectively. They could not hold onto a point against Real Sociedad as Aritz Elustondo scored the winner in the 82nd minute of the game to take all three points for his side.
Granada lost their last game against Celta Vigo after Denis Suarez scored in the 94th minute of the game as things got heated between the two sides with referee booking five players in the process. Granada are still looking for their first win of the season and with their recent performances it might just come against Sevilla at the weekend.
Their opponents have looked far from convincing in their recent games but have still managed to come home victorious in their last two league games against Valencia and Espanyol respectively. Sevilla were in midweek action in the Champions League which saw them play out a 1-1 draw against German outfit Wolfsburg. Midfielder Ivan Rakitic bailed his side out after scoring from the penalty spot in the 87th minute to take a point home each. However Wolfsburg missed plenty of chances and should’ve easily won the game and were surely the better side over the course of 90 minutes. However Sevilla have started their league campaign strongly and are sitting in 4th place with 14 points from the first seven games.

Both sides will come into this game seeing it as an opportunity to win as it will be an open contest. Granada surely have to quality to win this one, but Lopetegui’s Sevilla are a tough nut to crack. Therefore we predict a draw in this game with the teams sharing a point each.
