La Liga: Levante vs Rayo Vallecano Live Stream, Preview and Prediction

The first international break of the 21/22 season is finally over and club football is back this weekend as Levante take on Rayo Vallecano in match-day four of La Liga. Levante are in 13th place after three games played, while Rayo Vallecano find themselves in 10th place.

Levante lost their last game 1-0 to a strong Real Sociedad side and were not able to build on from their performance against Real Madrid in a 3-3 draw in gameweek 2 but it was an eventful evening nonetheless. Levante were leading the game 2-1 in the second half before substitute Vinicius Junior levelled game in 73rd minute. However Levante defender Rober restored his side one goal advantage in the 79th but Vinicius added another to his name by scoring again the 85th minute this from a rather tight angle.

Levante goalkeeper Aitor Fernandez was sent off moments later for handling the ball outside the penalty box with their centre-back Vezo stepping up in the Levante goal for the remaining minutes of the game. Levante were then beaten by a strong Real Sociedad side 1-0 in their third game thanks a goal from Barrenetxea late in the first half. The hosts will be looking to get back to winning ways against Rayo Vallecano on Saturday.

Newly promoted side Rayo Vallecano find themselves in 10th place with three points from the first three games of the season. The Vellecas side lost 3-0 to Sevilla on the opening day and were then beaten 1-0 by Real Sociedad. However after losing the first two games against fairly difficult opponents, the visitors come into this game with dominant 4-0 win in their last game against Granada and will be looking for the same when they face Levante.

Levante come into this game without the experienced striker Roberto Soldado and winger Jorge de Furtos who is out until the end of the month with a knee injury. Even with some key players missing for the home side, they are more than capable to see off Rayo Vallecano. We predict a comfortable win for Levante in this game.
