Rarely does one witness Lionel Messi signing jerseys while he’s out and about. Well, that’s precisely what happened to one lucky fan in Miami. The Argentine superstar happened to pull up next to the fan’s car, as captured in a video shared online.

In the clip, Lionel Messi’s car stops alongside the fan’s, and the fan tosses a jersey into Messi’s car. Surprisingly, Messi accepts the jersey, signs it with a faint smile, and hands it back to the fan politely. Another person from Messi’s car retrieves the jersey as honking cars behind prompt Messi to drive away. Fans all over the internet were praising the Argentine for his humility and for ‘always’ taking the time to sign jerseys anytime he can.

Aguero responds to Lionel Messi’s FIFA The Best win over Erling Haaland

Former Argentina teammate and Lionel Messi’s close friend Sergio Aguero has responded to the Miami #10’s FIFA The Best win. The former Manchester City striker hung up his boots in 2021 and currently runs an eSports organization called KRÜ eSports, co-owned by Lionel Messi himself. Recently, Agüero shared his take on whether Lionel Messi ‘deserved’ to win the award ahead of Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe.

The Argentine’s victory was heavily criticized by fans and several critics. However, Aguero was firm in his opinion when he said,

If Leo's still playing, he'll be the best there is.

While Messi did win the Ligue 1 with PSG and the FIFA World Cup with Argentina, Haaland won the treble with Manchester City while also having a record-breaking goal-scoring record.

Lionel Messi was crucial to Inter Miami as he led the team to its first-ever trophy, the Leagues Cup. However, an unfortunate injury saw the Argentine sit out crucial games at the later end of the season. The club also failed to qualify for the MLS playoffs. With the arrival of Luis Suarez as well, the club will now look to compete in all competitions and bring in maximum silverware.
