During the 1980s, it was still known as the European Cup, and his Liverpool side won the title on two consecutive seasons in 1977 and 1978. He is the most successful manager in the history of the Premier League giants and won a total of 20 trophies during his managerial career at the Merseyside club.

Carlo Ancelotti (AC Milan and Real Madrid)

Carlo Ancelotti became the second man ever to win the coveted Champions League in 2014 when he led Real Madrid to their 10th “La Decima.” The Italian manager has already tasted European success with AC Milan in 2003 and 2007 to hand the Rossoneri their 6th and 7th title. He is still very much active and has returned to his former Champions League winning club Real Madrid to add to his list of European glory.

Zinedine Zidane (Real Madrid)

Zinedine Zidane lifted the Champions League trophy in 2014 with Real Madrid when he was the assistant to Carlo Ancelotti. However, the French legend then went on to lay his hands on the trophy for three times and that too in successive years from 2016-18 with the club once again to forever etch his name into history as one of the best managers. He achieved what no manager had done before- successfully defending the Champions League title and did it for 2 years with the talented Real Madrid side.
