The arrival of Ralf Rangnick as the interim manager of Manchester United have so far go as planned for the Premier League club. 1-0 win over each Crystal Palace and Norwich have kicked off the Rangnick era on a positive note. The arrival of the 63 year-old German international have not only revived the chances of the current players in the squad but have also made some Europe’s finest talents a Manchester United target in the coming transfer windows. With Ralf Rangnick set to take the advisory role at the club at the end of the season Manchester United surely have the best man to get the best talents across Europe.

One of Rangnick’s former player Amadou Haidara at RB Leipzig broke the silence about his potential move to Manchester United in the future and also said that Ralf played a big role for his success at Leipzig. At the age of 23, Haidara is attracting the top clubs from Europe with his impressive central midfield play in the Bundesliga and the Champions League this season.

Haidara’s rumoured move to Old Trafford was fuelled by RB Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff when he revealed that Rangnick loves Haidara. He further said that he is aware of the top European clubs looking to make a move for the 23 year-old midfielder and wants to tie him down to a new long term contract. Haidara has great admiration for Manchester United and it’s players and said that the Red Devils has been his favourite club growing up as a kid.

“Everyone had a favourite team as a kid. Mine was Manchester United,I was a big fan of Cristiano Ronaldo, I liked Paul Scholes, Patrice Evra, Edwin van der Sar, Anderson.”

But when asked about a rumours about Manchester United Haidara said that he is happy at Leipzig at the moment, “But if you want to talk to me about rumours: I’m at Leipzig and I feel good.”

Amadou Haidara was bought to RB Leipzig by Ralf Rangnick in 2019 despite the midfielder suffering a long term injury after he tore his cruciate ligament.

“Yes, Ralf plays a very big role in my career. Don’t forget, when Leipzig wanted to get me, I tore my cruciate ligament. But Ralf said that I should come anyway. I wouldn’t have expected that back then. I’m very grateful to him because he really wanted me and gave me great confidence as a coach in Leipzig.”

Haidara and Leipzig finished third in their Champions League group meaning they will play Europa League football for the rest of the season.
