Cristiano Ronaldo Jr was in attendance for the Supercopa de España final at the Al-Awwal Stadium on Sunday. The 13-year-old prodigy watched on as his father’s former club lifted the title for the 13th time in its history. Images captured from the stands show a keen Cristiano Jr. watching the game. Real Madrid beat FC Barcelona 4-1 to lift the trophy emphatically.
While Cristiano Ronaldo was spotted entering the stadium for the final, the #7 managed to elude the prying eyes of fans and journalists. Both father and son would have left the stadium with smiles on their faces as Ronaldo’s former club made easy work of last year’s champions. To add to Cristiano Jr.’s delight, Vinicius Jr hit the ‘SIU’ after scoring Madrid’s opening goal.

He also put up a performance fitting of the #7, hitting a first-half hat-trick in 39 minutes. Fans were thrilled as they recorded an invested Cristiano Jr. admiring Real Madrid’s performance on the night.
Both Ronaldo and his son recently set social media ablaze for scoring and subsequently recreating impressive free-kick goals in training.

Fans could not hide their excitement as they spotted a familiar figure in the stands for Real Madrid vs Barcelona. Several cameras were pointed at the young ‘celebrity’ who watched his father’s former side ‘demolish’ their eternal rivals. A fan commented that he is a fitting heir for the #7 at Real after Vinicius. Others were searching for the 13-year-old’s father, who was nowhere to be seen in the stands.

Another fan commented that he would be brimming with pride seeing other players imitate his father’s celebration. The Al-Nassr U-13 star donned an all-black outfit as he watched on from what appears to be a VIP stand. He was also seen enthusiastically pointing out Vinicius’ imitation of the ‘SIU’ to his friend sitting nearby. As for the game itself, Vinicius Jr. scored twice within the first ten minutes.
Barcelona pulled one back through Robert Lewandowski, but quickly lost their grip on the game as Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo Goes fired them clear. Ronald Araujo also saw red, adding to Barcelona’s misery. Vinicius admitted in a post-match press conference that he hit the iconic celebration as a tribute to CR7 and also because he is playing in Saudi at the moment.
