Here’s How Beyonce might create problems for Tottenham over stadium license rules amidst Premier League woes
Tottenham is selling tickets to five Beyonce concerts this year.
Beyonce Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has breached its stadium license after it sold tickets to a fifth Beyonce concert this year. Under current planning agreements, the football club can host six concerts at its stadium each year. It had tickets on sale for six shows previously. However, Beyonce announced the extra date on February 7. Dana Carlin, a cabinet member for planning at Haringey Council, expressed her disappointment.
All general admission tickets for the Beyonce shows have sold out, with only premium tickets available. Tickets are still on sale for the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Wizkid. Following Beyonce’s five concerts in May and June, the Tottenham Hotspur stadium is due to host the Red Hot Chili Peppers on July 21 and Wizkid on July 29. This means the additional tour date for Beyonce puts the stadium in breach of its licence agreement.
Councillor Carlin said that there was a planning process that needed to be respected. “Welcoming global superstars like Beyonce will attract thousands of music fans and benefits our local businesses.” She said the impact on residents “has to be balanced against this.” “We are disappointed that we have got to this stage.” “Tottenham Hotspur has been advised that they must engage with the community and ward councillors and submit a planning application,” she added.
She said Haringey Council would work with the football club to resolve the issue. Stadium authorities must submit another planning application to the council to host the additional sold-out performance. Tottenham Hotspur Football Club declined to comment.

Tottenham Hotspur signing a deal with Formula 1 to build go-kart track under the stadium
Just 6 days before selling tickets to a fifth Beyonce concert this year, Spurs signed a deal with Formula 1 to build a go-kart track under the Tottenham Hotspur stadium. The Premier League club signed a 15-year contract with Formula One. The incredible deal includes the world’s first in-stadium electric kart track in a stadium that already hosts NFL and football matches.
“When you take Premier League, the NFL, the F1, the rugby, and you take concerts. Almost 80% of the world’s population are interested in these events that happen here.” Todd Kline, Chief commercial officer of Spurs, stated in an interview. Tottenham Hotspurs stadium’s south stand will have the new racetrack under it, and will be opened this fall. The deal with Formula One will lead to a new racetrack under Tottenham Hotspurs stadium’s south stand, which will be opened this fall.
The new track will be the longest indoor track in London. It will also be the world’s first in-stadium electric go-kart track. The National Karting Association accredited the venue, making it a potential site for future championship races. It will also include motorsport activities and food and beverage facilities.
The deal left Tottenham fans unimpressed, urging the club to spend money on the team instead. The football world will watch with interest as to how the deal works out for the club.
