The Europa League
The Union Of European Football Associations (UEFA) organizes an annual football club competition called the Europa League (UEFA). After the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Europa League is regarded as the second most significant international club competition. The clubs qualify for the tournament depending on their results in their respective national leagues and cup tournaments.
The tournament was formerly known as the UEFA Cup from 1970 to 2009 when it underwent a format change and became recognized as the Europa League. The final has been conducted as a single match since 1996; formerly, the winning team was determined by a home and away series. The most victories have been achieved by Spanish clubs, followed by England and Italy.

1. Sevilla: 6 titles
The Spanish club Sevilla has been hailed as The most successful club in the history of the competition. They have managed to win the competition six times, which is the most in tournament history.
They have won the tournament in 2005 defeating Middlesbrough, 2006 defeating Espanyol, 2013 defeating Benfica, 2014 defeating Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, in 2015 defeating Liverpool and in 2019 beating Inter Milan. The manager with the most number of titles in the competition’s history is Unai Emery who has led Sevilla to three consecutive titles from 2013 to 2015.
2. Liverpool and Juventus: 3 titles each
Liverpool and Juventus are teams that usually play top-flight European football. Both Liverpool and Juve have won the competition three times.
The Merseyside team has won the competition thrice in its history in the years 1972 vs Borussia Monchengladbach, 1975 vs Club Brugge, and 2000 vs Deportivo Alaves. Whereas, the Bianconeri have managed to win the Europa league in 1976 against Athletic Club, 1989 against Fiorentina, and in 1992 against Borussia Dortmund.
3. Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid: 3 titles each
