7. Cristiano Ronaldo is the only player to score 10+ goals for 7 UCL campaigns
The Champions League is the competition in which Cristiano Ronaldo, as evidenced by his nickname “Mr. Champions League”, performs at his highest level, and this is evidenced by numerous records he holds in the most elite club tournament.
None of these achievements illustrate his dominance more than his record of scoring more than 10 goals a season for seven consecutive seasons in the Champions League.
To put this record into greater context, no other player has managed to achieve this feat for more than 2 seasons including his greatest rival and arguably the best player ever, Lionel Messi. After completing a world-record €94m transfer in 2009, Cristiano Ronaldo soon found his feet at Real Madrid and beat Messi as La Liga’s top-scorer in only his second season by a nine-goal margin. By 2013, the 34-year-old set a new record for scoring 150 La Liga goals in only his 140th match.
So far, only 23 players have made the list of the scorers with 150 goals or more over the course of Spain’s La Liga. Nevertheless, only one of these players has hit this number with an average of more than one goal per game(1.07): Cristiano Ronaldo.
When considering that Cristiano Ronaldo also holds the record for reaching 150 goals and 200 goals faster than any other player in La Liga history, this record becomes even more impressive as it shows that from the moment he joined Real Madrid in 2009, he has been consistently scoring goals.

3. Most goals in the Champions League
As far as Cristiano Ronaldo’s finishing abilities are concerned, he has particularly showcased them in the UEFA Champions League – sometimes also known as the Cristiano Ronaldo Champions League. Winning every individual and team honor with a single club is pretty hard, but to pull off this extraordinary feat with two clubs is well-nigh impossible.
While his rival, Lionel Messi has achieved this at Barcelona during his miraculous career, CR7 has done so at both Manchester United and Real Madrid. The closest player to matching this record is French legend Zinedine Zidane, who won virtually every individual and team honor at Juventus and Real Madrid, but not all of them.

Ronaldo has won the Ballon D’or, World Player of the Year, Golden Boot, Champions League, domestic league, domestic cup, World Club Championship, and domestic Super Cup at two different clubs. It is unfathomable how any player in the foreseeable future will eclipse this astonishing record set by the Portuguese, and will rightly be the hardest record of his to break.
