The Rossoneri management tried to sign Renato Sanches in January but an agreement with the player over personal terms was not found. However, these issues seem to have been solved, so much so that only the final details between the directors and Sanches’ agent Jorge Mendes are missing.

In January the demand from Lille was €25m but given he now has only a year left on his deal, the Portuguese midfielder can leave for a figure of around €20m. Divock Origi will be the first to arrive at the red side of San Siro and should have medical examinations in mid-June, then it will be Sanches’ turn to arrive.

According to ‘Le Parisien’, PSG have shown interest in Sanches, whose contract expires in 2023. AC Milan, who are very close to signing him roght now, asked about the Portuguese in the past and they now face stiff competition in PSG.

Renato Sanches is one of Lille’s main players. Despite the fact he was disappointing at Bayern Munich after leaving Benfica, he has offered his best version yet for Lille in Ligue 1 in a redemption arc for the Portuguese player.

The Portuguese won Ligue 1 amidst a huge upset last season and he has been a regular starter this term: he has started 27 of the 32 games in total. It is worth remembering that Lille played in the Champions League this term.

His good work on the field of play had led to big clubs in Europe asking about Renato, as is the case of AC Milan, interest which was revealed months ago. However, Milan will have to fight with a tough competitor in the market to sign the Portuguese.

‘Le Parisien’ reports that PSG have shown interest in the footballer, whose contract expires in 2023 and that he could leave for free next year if he does not renew. It is not the first time that PSG have had Sanches on their agenda as they showed interest in him in 2019.
