Achraf Hakimi and his ex-partner, Hiba Abouk had been married since 2020. The couple has recently separated in a very public divorce trial following recent allegations against the Morrocan. A recent hiccup in their relationship was also in the show during the World Cup in Qatar.

Following the final whistle in the Atlas Lions’ victory against Belgium in the Group stage, the Moroccan led the celebrations. Hakimi first celebrated the victory with his teammates, and then his mother. He then went on to show his thanks alongside his comrades to the supporters.

This however displeased his ex-partner. Abouk was visibly unhappy that the PSG defender did not give her precedence in the celebrations. The Spanish actress was seen arguing with Hakimi that he did not run straight to her after the final whistle.

Sahmed shown the red card for horrible challenge

Achraf Hakimi was the victim of a horror challenge in PSG’s victory over RC Lens. The Parisian club eased past Les Sang et Or in what could prove to be a title-winning match for the campaign.

The Moroccan was brought down by a studs-up challenge from Salis Abdul Sahmed in the 19th minute of the game. The foul saw the Ghanian get sent off very early in the first half and left Hakimi writhing in pain. However, the PSG defender showcased his determination and played the full 90 in the match.

The sending-off paved the way for the Parisians to take charge. PSG scored three goals within the first half, and Lens could only manage a consolation goal in the 60th minute of the game. The win sees PSG extend their lead at the top of the table to nine points with only seven matches left to play in the campaign.
