At only 20 years of age, Timber had a fantastic season at Ajax. The defender is very versatile and can contribute as a fullback as well. He will be looking to join the Red Devils after winning consecutive league titles in the Netherlands. The Manchester United manager is an admirer of Timber’s ball-playing ability and leadership skills on the pitch. He is one of the most wanted talented youngsters in Europe right now.
With ten Hag having a positive relationship with Timber, Manchester United have an upper hand on signing the Dutch. Undoubtedly Timber will be an extraordinary addition to the Manchester United backline. With Harry Maguire’s dodgy performances and Raphael Varane not hitting his best form, The Reds are desperately in need of a solid centre half.
