Al Hilal has aimed to land superstars in Saudi Arabia. The club tried to lure Lionel Messi this summer window, but he chose Inter Miami. They are now aiming to recruit Victor Osimhen from Napoli and strengthen their side.
Al Hilal has made an offer worth €140 million to Napoli for striker Victor Osimhen. The Saudi Arabian club is looking to strengthen its attack. Reports suggest Napoli aimed to get more money for their striker than the offered bid. Meanwhile, Al Hilal has offered a mammoth €1 million per month contract to Osimhen.
Osimhen fired Napoli to the Serie A title last season. He scored 26 goals to lead the Napoli attack. Al Hilal wants Osimhen to lead their attack as they aim to conquer the Saudi Pro League. Previously, the franchise tried to recruit Lionel Messi for the same. However, they failed to convince him as Messi had other plans.
Al Hilal has continued to bolster its ranks this season. They have signed Ruben Neves, Kalidou Koulibaly and Malcolm. They now aim to add Osimhen to the roster as they continue building their team this summer.
Al Hilal aims to sign Marco Verratti from PSG
Al Hilal is reportedly interested in signing Marco Verratti from Paris Saint-Germain. The Saudi Arabian club is looking for a new midfielder to partner Ruben Neves. They have marked Verratti as their target.
Al Hilal is reportedly willing to pay €60 million for Verratti. On the other hand, PSG is not willing to sell him for less than €80 million. Verratti looks keen on the move, joining the exodus away from PSG started by the departure of Lionel Messi. He is reported to be more likely to settle in Saudi Arabia than in Europe.
Verratti has been with PSG since 2012 and has won many trophies with the club, including four Ligue 1 titles, three Coupe de France titles, and two Coupe de la Ligue titles. He is a small but dynamic midfielder who is powerful and agile. He is also a very good passer and dribbler and can tackle. Al Hilal wants him in their midfield for all these qualities.
