Ange Postecoglou joined Tottenham Hotspur in the summer and brought positive change to the club. His signings James Maddison, Brennan Johnson, Micky van de Ven, and Guglielmo Vicario have transformed the team. They play exciting, beautiful football that fans enjoy and with such improvement, Postecoglou aims to win a trophy with the club. Something Spurs have failed to do for 15 years.
The fact that the Lilywhites have not won a major trophy since their League Cup trophy triumph in 2008 has made them a joke among fans. They are easy targets due to this. In the past 10 years they finished runner-ups of the League Cup twice, the UEFA Champions League and were Premier League runner-ups in 2016/17.

In a recent press conference ahead of Spurs’s FA tie with Burnley, a reporter asked if Postecoglou pictured himself with a trophy. The Australian had to remind the reporter that he had already won trophies and had real photos of it.
I’ve got real pictures, mate. There’s quite a few of them actually.
When asked if he pictures himself winning any trophies with Tottenham, he said he just saw the ones he already did.
Postecoglou has been a manager since 1996, starting with South Melbourne. He has won 13 Club trophies and 1 International trophy with Australia. Before signing for Spurs, the Australian won the domestic treble with Celtic.
Ange Postecoglou on Spurs January Transfer window
Tottenham Hotspurs are going through an injury crisis. Van de Ven and Cuti Romero, their starting center-backs, are out with long-term injuries. Along with them, James Madisson, Ivan Perisic, and Manor Solomon are injured.

With this crisis, many expected the club to be busy in the upcoming transfer window. But Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that there will be “nothing magical” in the upcoming transfer window, adding that he trusted his current batch of players.
The transfer window? Nothing magical is going to happen in the window. What we need to do is keep building. We've had one window with this team to change around and to do things differently. The fact we're in the position we are is a credit to the players. Throughout all the challenges we've had, we keep plowing forward.Ange Postecoglou before their fixture with Bournemouth
Spurs are close to signing defender Radu Dragusin from Genoa, but his agent claims he doesn’t want to leave. They are currently eyeing Ko Ikatura from Borussia Monchengladbach, Joe Gomez from Liverpool, and Morgan Gibbs-White from Wolves.
