Angel Di Maria, who has been released by PSG, is close to joining Juventus on a free transfer in the summer transfer window. According to the latest reports from GOAL.com, Angel Di Maria’s entourage has contacted Juventus representatives in recent hours and sent positive signals regarding a potential deal for the Argentine this summer.

According to the report, Di Maria has given the go-ahead to complete the desired transfer after what appeared to be a never-ending stalemate between the two parties.

The Old Lady were thought to be the frontrunners in the race for the 34-year-old, who left Paris Saint-Germain. However, La Liga giants Barcelona quickly entered the race, and Di Maria was said to be interested in a move to Camp Nou if they made an offer.

Contract talks have been going for weeks between Juventus and Angel Di Maria’s representatives

Previously demanding a salary package of €7 million per season, Juventus has agreed to match the 34-year-old’s financial demands. However, the Italian club was more interested in signing him to a two-year contract in order to take advantage of the Growth Decree’s tax breaks.
