FC Barcelona and France defender Jules Kounde hailed the partnership of Tedd Lasso and Coach Beard in his last social media post. Tedd Lasso and Coach Beard are famous American TV show characters played by Jason Sudeikis and Brendan Hunt.
Kounde recently posted a picture of Lasso and Beard is social media calling the two actors a, “Dynamic Duo”. The show has collected innumerable laurels for its storytelling, acting and production.
The show’s about an American college football coach, Ted Lasso. He surprisingly was hired to manage AFC Richmond, a fictitious English Premier League soccer team. Although he had no previous coaching experience. Rebecca Welton, the team’s owner, employed Lasso in the hopes that he will fail in order to seek revenge on the team’s former owner, her adulterous ex-husband. Ted’s charisma, attitude, and sense of humor, on the other hand, began to win over Rebecca, the staff, and others who were doubtful of his hiring.
Tedd Lasso has often been associated with real-life football entities. A few episodes back in the show, Lasso’s AFC Richmond played a match against Manchester City. The episode featured Man City coach Pep Guardiola.
Later in an interview, Guardiola talked about how he and his family were a fan of the show. Guardiola said, “As a family, we are big fans. My daughter Valentina and my wife enjoy the show a lot, especially the first season. When they ask me for a cameo I said ‘Why not?’. I could meet the actors and after one of the last games at the Etihad they came and we talked again. It was nice.“

Deco trying to convince the €17.5 million Turkish prodigy to join Barcelona
FC Barcelona’s technical director Deco is trying to sign Turkish sensation Arda Guler this summer. The player is reportedly a top talent and is eyed by a few of the top clubs in Europe. Barcelona’s arch-rival Real Madrid is said to be in the race of signing the teenage star.
Guler, who plays for Fenerbahce, scored six goals in 35 games for the club and is often called the ‘Turkish Messi’ in his homeland. He reportedly has a release clause of just €17.5 million which is something Barcelona can pay even in their current financial situation.
Guler reportedly wants to leave Turkey right away for a new adventure and Deco will have to approach him accordingly. Deco currently is the main man in the sporting department at Barcelona. He is heading the operation and he must make sure the club provides the young player with everything he is asking for.
In case of transfer dealings, the former Portuguese midfielder will make all big decisions. His initial task is to identify specific players that could help the team next season. And now that he has identified Guler, he has to make sure the operation is executed before Real Madrid makes their move.
