Memphis Depay
Memphis Depay joined Barcelona last season on a free transfer from Olympique Lyon. The 28-year-old was highly admired by then-boss, Ronaldo Koeman and continued to remain an important part of Xavi’s system as well.
While Depay’s first season was plagued by injuries, he still ended as the club’s top scorer in La Liga with 12. However, with the Blaugrana having signed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and eyeing a move for Robert Lewandowski, Memphis Depay could fall down the pecking order.
As a result, Gerard Romero has reported that the club have asked to remove the picture of Memphis Depay from their promotions during their pre-season tour in the USA, while they look to sell the player.

Memphis could look to return to the Premier League again after a disappointing first stint at Manchester United. The player has matured and developed since. According to reports, Tottenham Hotspurs and Arsenal are interested in the Dutchman.
While Xavi is a keen admirer of the player, he is aware that the arrival of Robert Lewandowski and Rafinha will only reduce the chances that Memphis gets to play for the Blaugrana.
Moreover, the Dutchman’s contract at Camp Nou will expire next summer and Barcelona doesn’t have the funds to give him a bumper deal. Hence they must sell him now in order to recoup as much as they can.
According to SPORT, Depay is not interested in a move to Tottenham or Arsenal. He wants to stay and fight for his position at Catalan. However, the player might not get many options and Tottenham as of now lead the race to sign the 28-year-old.
