The Soccer Champions Tour is set for its inaugural edition as FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Juventus, Club América and Chivas de Guadalajara face off this summer across the United States.
The competition spans from July 22 to July 30, and host cities Las Vegas, San Francisco, Dallas and Los Angeles welcome the European giants. The upcoming tournament will see the first return of play in the U.S. for Barcelona and Real Madrid since 2019 and for Juventus since 2018.
Real Madrid kick-starts their La Liga and Champions League title defense with a pre-season tour in the USA. They are one of the participants of the inaugural Soccer Champions Tour and will face their arch-rivals FC Barcelona on 23rd July in Las Vegas.
The match between Real Madrid and Barcelona will be the second Clasico to ever be held in the United States. The first was played in July 2017, at the Hard Rock Stadium in front of 64,000 spectators. This summer the match is at Allegiant Stadium, with a capacity of 65,000 fans. It will also be the first time that Barcelona will play in Las Vegas.
Their second fixture is against Mexican side Club America at Oracle Park, San Francisco on 26th of July. The last fixture will be a repeat of 2016-117 Champions League Final opponents Juventus at Rose Bowl Stadium, Los Angeles on July 30. It would be exciting to see how many new additions does Los Blancos go for to their already star-studded lineup and whether these new signings could hit the ground running.
