Barcelona have a strong attacking side in Laliga. Xavi’s response to the round-of-16 play-off draw for the Europa League
The manager of FC Barcelona, Xavi, has acknowledged that their opponent in the Europa League round of 16 play-off was the toughest. After knowing that Manchester United will be their opponent in the play-off, Barcelona manager Xavi acknowledged that they had been dealt the most challenging foe. Xavi added that Man Utd had developed significantly under Erik ten Hag as manager of the Red Devils. The worst draw they could have received, he said.
“It is the most difficult opponent once again, but we will look forward to it,” the Barcelona manager stated.
“They are a historic side, they have grown a lot with the arrival of Ten Hag, they have great players. It’s the worst draw we could have got. Once again, no luck.”
