Barcelona defender Gerard Pique ‘annoyed’ after meeting with Shakira due to no improvement in talks on child custody: Reports

The split between Colombian singer Shakira and Spanish football star Gerard Piqué added a fresh chapter. The Barcelona athlete left the meeting early, according to La Vanguardia, where they had to reach an agreement over child custody. The central defender would grow bored of the protracted deliberations that were going on for far too long.
The Catalan central defender was the first to arrive at his lawyer Ramón Tamborero’s office, according to the newspaper. He arrived at about 6:00 o’clock and left at 7:50 o’clock (Spanish time). He went without saying anything, but his attorney said that Milan and Sasha, the couple’s two children, are what matter most to both the footballer and the artist.
This medium also guaranteed that, despite the fact that both parties tightened the rope, they are attempting to avoid the court hearing that would decide the children’s custody and visitation schedule. Shakira, on the other hand, arrived at the workplace in Barcelona’s Plaza Francesc Macià about ten minutes after her ex-partner and left at about nine o’clock in the evening. Pilar Maé, her attorney, was also present.

“The athlete is fed up with the endless delays to reach an agreement in this rocky negotiation, an ordeal of unbearable meetings, clauses and counteroffers,” explained the Spanish newspaper. They cautioned him not to leave the building despite their best efforts to persuade him to stay in the conclave.
The legal counsel for both parties had been in negotiations for two weeks, according to the Catalan newspaper, but there seemed to be no progress because of the resentment caused by the “number of clauses and demands” that his former partner expressed.
“He didn’t want to hear more. He got up and left. He thought that the agreement was close, that everything was going to be solved, and he found a series of annexes in the agreement that made him lose his patience,” they clarified in that publication.
