Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic ditched FC Barcelona and has said yes to Saudi club Al Nassr’s proposal. A verbal agreement between the parties has been reached.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Brozovic has agreed to the proposal sent by Al Nassr and is ready to move to the Saudi side. The contract is reportedly for three years and is set to end in 2026. Al Nassr would pay Inter Milan €23 million as a transfer fee. Brozovic is set to earn a package of €100 million for three years.
Inter and Al Nassr reportedly reached an agreement for the player a few days back. But Brozovic wasn’t accepting it. He wanted a better salary than what Al Nassr offered.
The Croatian star gave alleged cryptic hints of joining Barcelona. This made many believe that Brozovic had plans of continuing his career in Europe and was reportedly ready to join Barcelona.
Barca fans are now disappointed at the player as he has agreed to ditch the Spanish Giants. Brozovic is now on the move to Al Nassr alongside Cristiano Ronald.
Brozovic is scheduled to have the medicals on Friday. It will be followed by the final check of the contracts before they are signed.

Marcelo Brozovic has chosen to accept Al Nassr’s proposal and join them this summer. This would reportedly see them get €100 million in the course of three years. But Brozovoc was earlier hesitant to accept this deal as he wanted to have a bit more. His indication made many speculate that he might opt. to stick to European football. Few saw the fact that Brozovic might even move to Barcelona. But he reportedly ditched the Blaugranas as he moved to Saudi Arabia.
Fans are reportedly not happy with his move to Saudi Arabia as they think it might not be the right time for him to move. Many even took to social media to mock him for his transfer. One fan wrote, “All Nassr getting Ziyech and now Brozovic. Ronaldo is actually getting a proper team now.” Another fan wrote, “It 3 years’ time all of these players Al Nassr signed will be retiring.” And a third fan wrote, “Rejected Barca and went to Saudi”.
