Barcelona fans are under the impression that their club will make Joao Cancelo‘s transfer permanent to the club soon, but it could be complicated due to financial reasons. Cancelo is on loan from Manchester City who have slapped up a €30 million price tag on the player.

Despite this being a fair price for a player of Cancelo’s abilities, Barcelona might be struggling to pay the fee required for the player to make the move permanent. Alongside Joao Felix, who is on loan from La Liga side Atletico Madrid, Cancelo has been in great form this season for Barca.
