Barcelona has confirmed their first signing of the summer with Racing Santander’s Pablo Torre through Fabrizio Romano. The 19-year-old will join the Catalan club for a fee of €5 million with up to €15 million in add-ons, making the total package worth €20 million.
Barcelona has also added a release clause of €100 million on the youngster to ward off any interest for the forthcoming years. Pablo signed a contract with Barcelona for 4 years running till June 2026.

Who is Pablo Torre? Barcelona’s new signing
Pablo Torre is a 19-year-old midfielder who played for Racing Santander in the second division of the La Liga in Spain. Pablo Torre was born in Soto de la Marina on 3 April 2003 (19 years), and joined the youth system at Racing Santander in 2015.
He made his first team debut at that club on 18 October 2020 in a league fixture against Portugalete. Last season he played 34 games and was a key reason for the team’s promotion to the second division.
Pablo Torre scored ten goals in the Primera RFEF (group 1) and gave 11 assists in the regular season and playoffs and the Copa RFEF. In 59 appearances for the club so far, the youngster has managed 14 goals and 16 assists.
Torre signed his contract in the presence of the club president, Joan Laporta. After which, he was kitted up and entered the Cam Nou to have his traditional first touches with the ball. Torre is the first confirmed signing of Barcelona this season as the club is still working on bringing more players this summer.
