Barcelona preparing to file a lawsuit against Atletico Madrid over Antonio Griezmann: Reports

Barcelona to prepare a lawsuit against Atletico Madrid

According to reports set out by Sique Rodriguez, Barcelona is all set in preparation for filing a lawsuit against Atletico Madrid regarding the French footballer Antoine Griezmann. The lawsuit is being filed regarding the transfer fee Barcelona had to receive on giving Antoine Griezmnn for a loan to Atletico Madrid.

The Spanish clubs Barcelona and Atletico Madrid came to an agreement that they would pay a sum of $40 million to Barcelona if Antoine Griezmann plays more than 50% of the game time. But Atletico Madrid has been playing their cheapest tricks to avoid giving the money by barely giving Griezmann time to play.

Even though Griezmann is a great player who is well known for his versatility in attacking, passing, and supporting defense, he only enters the ground after the 60th minute. Atletico Madrid plays in such a way that they will not have to pay a single penny for such a great player. Barcelona agrees that they deserve the sum as Griezmann had played accordingly.

Barcelona also put up the statement that he has completed the necessary time needed as the loan started last year. The sum was very crucial for Barcelona as they were in a high financial crisis at one point as everybody knew. And the disrespect Antoine receives from Atletico Madrid is not something any player deserves.
