Frenkie de Jong, a great footballer for the prestigious Spanish club Barcelona, has rejected the pay reduction proposal made by the team administration to reach an understanding. The choice was made to provide a 40% wage reduction, however, the negotiation was unsuccessful.
Reports also state that Frenkie de Jong has requested a policy allowing him to keep earning his full deferred and current salaries until 2026 in addition to refusing to accede to the demand. Frenkie de Jong has not yet received the deferred pay of £17 million. If Frenkie de Jong leaves, Barcelona is searching for Bernardo Silva to check their midfield.
Due to salary conflicts, Frenkie de Jong wants to leave the team but cannot. There have been discussions about Bernardo Silva between the Spanish club Barcelona and the English Premier League team Manchester City, but it all hinges on how Frenkie de Jong develops.
De Jong reportedly does not want to remain with the LaLiga team on lower pay. Frenkie de Jong may have to quit the club of his own free will if Barca continues to use him as their center-back, according to rumors and the team is using it as a strategy but that is not working here.
