Barcelona star Gerard Pique and Shakira’s custody talks could take a new turn after reports suggest that the player never cheated

Ever since news broke out about Barcelona defender Gerard Pique’s apparent infidelity with his partner Shakira, the 35-year-old has had to endure some harsh criticism. While the couple has officially separated, new reports earlier suggested that Pique has already found a new partner.
The Spaniard was rumoured to be in a relationship with Carmen C. A 22-year-old waitress who worked at his restaurant, Kosmos. However, a news report published by ABC newspaper suggests that Carmen was just a summer fling and nothing more for Pique.

As per ABC writer Saul Ortiz Saúl Ortiz, “Sources close to the culé star insist that almost nothing explained coincides with reality. Piqué has been living as a bachelor for several months now.”
“However, an intimate encounter (which no one denies) has nothing to do with an established and mature courtship. The same sources insist that Gerard confessed to Shakira that all the chau-chau in the press was pure invention and that, although it was difficult for him to believe it, Shakira trusts his word.”
“The least of the problems is the one related to the children they have in common. That point is more than just on track and it can be resolved without the need to go to justice. Both parties want the best future for the little ones and are willing to give in.”
Hence, it means that when Gerard Pique was intimate with Carmen, he wan not cheating on Shakira as the duo were already separated at that time and they’re also on the same page about all of this.
Shakira is reportedly not ready to leave Barcelona without her boys. She is insistent on taking them with her to Miami and while Gerard Pique might be ready to give in to some of Shakira’s conditions, he will demand visitation hours from the Columbian singer.
