Bayern Munich and their annual lederhosen photoshoot is the gift that keeps on giving. The yearly tradition by the Bavarian club delights fans, footballers, and football Twitter alike. This year, Bayern Munich’s photoshoot had a heartwarming addition in England captain Harry Kane.
The former Tottenham marksman donned the traditional attire and posed for pictures alongside new teammates Thomas Müller and Alphonso Davies. As part of Oktoberfest, Bayern Munich players dressed up in lederhosen and drank beer for a photoshoot. In a hilarious video posted on Twitter by the football media page GOAL, Thomas Müller was seen teaching the latest signing Harry Kane how to eat German Sausage.
Previously, former Tottenham and Bayern marksman Jurgen Klinsmann shared a word of advice for Kane, saying that the fans would go absolutely wild if he made the slightest effort to adjust to or assimilate with Bavarian traditions. Klinsmann advised Kane to don a pair of lederhosen, have a few pints and German sausage, “preferably in the evening.”
Kane made a pleasant initial impression with the fans, by claiming that he was here to score goals and win trophies, while his family was here to live and experience German culture firsthand. The English striker has found life at Bayern easy, scoring 3 goals in his first two outings with the defending champions. Bayern are currently 2nd in Bundesliga with 6 points in two games.
After 213 Premier League goals, the English striker made the move to Bayern in a £100m move over the summer. The player will look to recreate his goalscoring form in Germany and this time, to win some silverware.
Bayern Munich defender move to Inter Milan
Following Milan Skriniar‘s departure to Ligue 1 giants PSG, Inter Milan secured the services of World Cup winner and Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard. Milan boss Simone Inzaghi stated their interest in signing an experienced defender following the departure of Skriniar.
The 27-year-old made the move to Bayern following the World Cup triumph in 2018. Since then, the right back won four Bundesliga titles and a Champions League among others.
Inter Milan have had a good start to their season, winning consecutive games and finding themselves 3rd in Serie A. After losing out on the title to Napoli last season, Inter will look to beat Napoli and rivals AC Milan as well to the title. Although Pavard plays as a right-back, he can function as a center-back as well.
