A lively figure both on and off the pitch, Thomas Müller has entertained the fans with his antics, celebrations, and comments on social media. Recently, the German veteran has gone on the record for choosing his favorite on the Messi-Ronaldo GOAT debate. Muller favored the Argentine over his rival. Speaking to sports OTT service DAZN, he expressed his opinion as to why and what made him prefer the Argentine over his Portuguese counterpart.

Müller said, “Who is the greatest of all time? The GOAT for me is Lionel Messi because he makes people say ‘I go to the stadium because of his elegance’ and at the same time, he is very effective in scoring goals and achieving records and titles. Cristiano is also a strong candidate in two categories which are stats and titles, but Messi is simply more subtle and elegant.”
