Jorge Reale, a contesting Presidential candidate of Boca Junior suggested the “Nueva Bombonera” project. The Argentine candidate suggests that the Boca Junior shall move their home ground to this new project. The stadium will be having a seating capacity of 112000 planned to be constructed on Demarchi Island.
The Argentine capitalist believes that the new stadium would solve the problem of seating capacity. The proposed stadium would be situated at a distance of around 1.3 km from the main stadium. Enrique Lombardi is the chief engineer who is already tendered for the project. The stadium is supposed to be coupled with 444 VIP individuals, 78 Television arenas, and 4,000 parking spaces.
The candidate’s reasons for constructing ‘Nueva Bombonera’ was supported by claims for reconstruction for a long. The stadium was renovated in 1996. But there were cracks that were witnessed during the match of Boca Juniors and Corinthians. The presidential candidate from the former club of Diego Maradona believes that the new stadium would be a proper solution to all the major problems.
The Argentine has cleared that the historic Estadio Alberto J Armando would not be demolished. The ‘La Bombonera’ would be used as headquarter of the feminine and their B teams. The achievement of the new stadium would is a dream for Boca Juniors fans which can be achieved in the near future.

One fan commented the plans of the stadium to be “out of the world” and “Already better than Spotify” referring to the Spotify Camp Nou which is said to undergo renovation. While another praised the Argentine government saying, “Glad to see the Argentinian Gov is focused on the most important priorities”. Another fan praised the beauty of the stadium calling it ‘unreal’ in astonishment. Fans even went on commenting the same to be “better than the Etihad stadium’.
The stadium is supposedly a dream for the Boca Juniors fan. The Nueva Bombonera is seen as a football site in the near future. Ine the words of Jorge Reale, the Boca Juniors “are the greatest in Argentina, we deserve it!“
