According to reports from the Daily Mail, an unnamed diner was brutally punched and left with a bloody eye by security. He allegedly tried to sneak in a picture with Lionel Messi and his wife, Antonella Rocuzzo. The story, however, seems utterly different from the victim’s side as he claims to be a family man just trying to capture the moments of his daughter’s 21st birthday.

Messi and his wife were partying with the Beckhams. They were captured by the paparazzi rushing outside the restaurant owned by Bad Bunny in Miami. The Japanese-style steakhouse experienced ample drama for the night. The manager reported that the guest was getting invasive of the player’s space. When they asked him to maintain a distance, he did not cooperate and returned aggressively. As a result, they escorted him out of the property.

The situation escalated to a point nobody wanted as Victoria Beckham was seen escorting her 12-year-old daughter, Harper, outside into a black SUV. However, in the words of the bloodied man, “They jumped at us; they kicked me out and punched me in the face!” The authorities did report him to be in an intoxicated state. Nonetheless, it should be no excuse for his severe wounds unless he was harassing someone.

Football players, especially those with the stature of Messi, are often involved in controversies they had no part to play in. The Miami Police have yet to give an official statement, probably because the victim hasn’t pressed any charges and downplayed the situation. Even Victoria seemed not to give any heed to the drama as she posted jolly pictures on her social media after their night out.

Childhood lovers and football power couple Lionel Messi and Antonella Roccuzzo significantly changed their lives as they moved to the vibrant city of Miami, Florida, in the summer of 2023. Messi, who joined Inter Miami F.C., now plays in the U.S based Major League Soccer and has already been running riot ever since his arrival.

Many fans speculated that Messi moved to Miami as he wanted a simpler lifestyle. However, it would be hard for him not to be mobbed in a country where people even refer to the sport he excels at as ‘soccer’ and not ‘football.’ Messi was captured doing grocery shopping with his family at ‘PUBLIX,’ it seems like he has found an excellent time to finally do things like a typical person without his unfathomable fame.

According to estimations, Lionel Messi paid a whopping $5 million for a 4,400-square-foot apartment. It features spectacular ocean views, 24-hour private security, a heated swimming pool, a gym, and a spa. As per New York Post, Messi bought his Miami base in 2019, a luxurious condo in Porsche Design Tower located in the exclusive Sunny Isles Beach Area.
