Zinedine Zidane
For football lovers worldwide, some breaking news has emerged. After the World Cup 2022, which will be held in Qatar and kicks off on November 20, Zinedine Zidane, a French professional football manager, will be formally announced as the new head coach of the France National Football Team.
According to reports, the team management’s contract with Zidane will not be affected by the FIFA World Cup’s conclusion or results because the transaction is already effectively closed. One of the greatest players in football history, his managerial career was highly anticipated, but up to that point, he had only managed the Spanish team Real Madrid.
Only in May 2021 had he announced his resignation as Real Madrid’s head coach. The Frenchman left for the second time, and this time he appeared to be under pressure from having to deal with the media, who had been criticizing him for his strategies and managerial style recently.
Additionally, there were speculations that he may join Juventus of Serie A. However, it is already official that he will join the France National Team. The news that Zinedine Zidane will assume the role of advisor to the current World Cup champions is also welcomed by many and does increase interest in many.
Zinedine Zidane and his managerial style
Zidane was a playmaker whose style, vision, passing, ball control, and technique were legendary. Zizou was the first manager to accomplish such an improbable accomplishment during his two brief stints as first team coach, helping the squad win three consecutive Champions Leagues and two LaLiga championships.
He had also won four Super Cups, two Spanish and European trophies, and two Club World Cups, totaling 11 trophies won in just over four and a half years during both of his tenures as manager. Zidane was hired as a special adviser to Real Madrid’s first squad in November 2010 in response to José Mourinho, the team’s then-coach, who had pleaded for the former Real midfielder to collaborate more closely with the first team.
